С 25 октября по 7 ноября жители и гости Дубая смогут насладиться множеством развлечений в рамках празднования «Фестиваля огней», или Дивали (Diwali). В этот период горожан и туристов ждут фейерверки и разнообразные культурные мероприятия, включая музыкальные шоу и театральные постановки.
Традиционные фейерверки озарят небо над популярными местами семейного отдыха: полюбоваться первыми салютами можно будет 25-26 октября в 21:00 в Al Seef и 1-2 ноября в 21:00 в Global Village.
С 28 октября по 3 ноября жители и туристы смогут насладиться недельным празднованием Дивали в Global Village. В этот период будут представлены красочные ранголи, яркие представления и потрясающие фейерверки. Посетители также смогут сделать покупки на рынке Festival of Lights Market в павильоне India Pavilion, и познакомиться с индийской кухней – от традиционной уличной еды на базаре Chaat Bazaar до изысканных блюд в ресторанах.
С 25 по 27 октября в Al Seef начнется фестиваль огней Noor – бесплатная культурная ярмарка, организованная компанией TeamWork Arts. На этой трехдневной ярмарке пройдут огненные шоу, художественные выступления и интерактивные мероприятия, а также будет представлен декор, посвященный празднику Дивали. Среди основных событий — кукольные шествия, театральные представления, поэтические концерты, музыкальные выступления, мастер-классы по пантомиме и дизайну, а также традиционные индийские деликатесы.
Для любителей музыки в зале Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, до 26 октября пройдет серия концертов The Unforgettables, посвященная легендарному Джаджиту Сингху, с участием его ученика Таузифа Ахтара.
