Департамент экономики и туризма Дубая напомнил жителям и гостям эмирата о нескольких музеях, в которых можно узнать об истории Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов.
Так, экспозиция музея Al Shinagha рассказывает о жизненном укладе народов, населявших берега залива. Здесь можно узнать о значении морской торговли, посмотрите видео, исторические фотографии и артефакты.
В Etihad Museum особое внимание уделено периоду между 1968 и 1974 годами, когда происходило формирование и становление страны. В самом здании музея воплощена история ОАЭ: изогнутая белая крыша символизирует страницу конституции, а семь колонн — ручки, которыми была подписана декларация об объединении.
В музее Saruq Al-Hadid собраны артефакты, найденные на месте археологического объекта, обнаруженного на окраине пустыни Rub Al-Khali. В числе находок — тысячи железных орудий и каменных инструментов, а также бронзовая посуда, украшения из золота и драгоценных камней и другие предметы, датируемые железным веком.
Интерактивная экспозиция даже позволяет с помощью специального симулятора принять участие в собственных раскопках.

The Etihad Museum pays special attention to the period between 1968 and 1974, when the formation and establishment of the country took place. The museum building itself embodies the history of the UAE: the curved white roof symbolizes the page of the constitution, and the seven columns represent the pens with which the declaration of unification was signed.
The Saruq Al-Hadid Museum contains artifacts found at the site of an archaeological site discovered on the outskirts of the Rub Al-Khali desert. The finds include thousands of iron tools and stone tools, as well as bronze tableware, jewelry made of gold and precious stones, and other items dating back to the Iron Age.
The interactive exhibition even allows you to take part in your own excavations using a special simulator.
