Главное управление по делам ислама ОАЭ (GAIAE) объявило о переименовании семи мечетей по всей стране в «Аль Нахва» в честь 17 января, даты, которую Его Высочество шейх Мухаммед бен Заед Аль Нахайян, президент Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов, назвал днем памяти о силе, стойкости и солидарности народа Эмиратов.
Доктор Омар Хабтур Аль Дараи, председатель Управления, отметил, что это решение отражает приверженность ОАЭ сохранению добродетельных национальных ценностей. «Мы стремимся вдохновить будущие поколения поддерживать дух единения, защищать достижения нации и оставаться стойкими перед любыми угрозами», – сказал он.

The General Directorate of Islamic Affairs of the UAE (GAIAE) announced the renaming of seven mosques across the country to Al Nahwa in honor of January 17, which His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, called the day of remembrance for the strength, resilience and solidarity of the people of the Emirates.
Dr. Omar Habtour Al Darai, Chairman of the Office, noted that this decision reflects the UAE’s commitment to preserving virtuous national values. “We strive to inspire future generations to maintain the spirit of unity, defend the achievements of the nation and remain resilient in the face of any threats,” he said.
Mr. Al Darai highlighted the important role of mosques in promoting social cohesion, noting that naming them Al Nahwa underscores the importance of patriotism and unity in the religious and cultural life of the country. He also added that January 17 is the date that marks the UAE’s fight against terrorism and aggression, highlighting the inextinguishable leadership role of the President of the United Arab Emirates.
